ARXX Wallsystem specification
ARXX High Performance Wallsystem consists of light-weight, insulating EPS forms, designed to be an integral part of the wall, and remaining in place after concrete is poured, used by erecting monolithic reinforced concrete walls 160 mm thick. The main element of the system is a frame shuttering form unit consisting of two interlocked expanded polystyrene panels.
Main dimensions of form unit: length – 1220 mm; height – 425 mm; width – 290 mm.
Framing panels are of 65 mm thickness and interlocked by rigid polypropylene webs with 203 mm spacing and cavity between them.
The forms alignment is made by fixing end edges, upper and lower as well, of EPS panels. The forms are laid up in courses with the help of lap splices which provide precise form laying, wall integrity and prevent concrete leakage. Walls are aligned and braced in preparation to receive concrete with the following concrete mix compaction. The wall forms are clamped with the help of scaffolding planks and leveling system. The EPS forms remain in place to provide heat - and sound insulation, and after getting its strength, the monolith reinforced concrete makes up load-bearing wall base.
